Desert Oasis is located in an upscale neighborhood of Osoyoos just off Highway 97, minutes from the U.S. border and five minutes from Highway 3, going west to Vancouver and east to the Kootenays, the Rockies and the Alberta border. A five minute drive takes you to the Osoyoos Golf and Country Club, a 36 hole world class golf course, and Fairview Mountain and NK'MIP Canyon – two other fine facilities – are within a 15 minute drive. Within ten minutes drive you can be treated to 20 of the finest wineries for tasting, tours and sales.

Closer to home: Within a single block you'll find Safari Beach, on the warmest lake in Canada. Just minutes from downtown, you'll find many interesting shops, restaurants, as well as lake amenities and water activities such as boating, jet skis, parasailing, and fishing. Other activities are the two desert cultural centres, museum, model train museum, horseback riding and amusement park.

Pretty much everything you've come for including festivals, competitions, and winter skiing are close too. Thirty minutes will take you to Mount Baldy – and less to the Anarchist summit.

One hour takes you to Penticton and its airport, and another forty-five minutes will take you to Kelowna with an international airport and all the major shopping malls.

Our staff is your personal concierge: We are happy to give pointers, suggestions, and info on anything you might need. We can arrange activities at your request and create packages for your activities. Just off the pool area there is a congregating area, and a recreation room with a computer station with free Internet access. That's where you'll find the kitchen, with light afternoon snacks, and daily, full course breakfasts offering a tasty variety of options.
